Recruiting Update: New Offer

I have received an offer from the Army Black Knights. They play in the Conference USA. I am a little familiar with them because my teammate and quarterback from this year received a scholarship to play there in the 2009 season. I am very honored to have this offer. Army looks for solid citizens and young men and to be considered to represent the team and country is truly an honor. I have also been receiving interest from an SEC school the Vanderbilt Commodores. They saw my film and liked it. They would like for me to come and visit sometime this summer. They possibly would offer at that time.

Recruiting Update: New Offer

This week we had several visitors to the school. Fresno State, Utah, Idaho, Washington State, UC Davis and Southern California. I received an offer from Idaho University Vandals. They play in the WAC.

I got a chance to meet my recruiter from Washington State Coach Ethridge. I bumped in to him on my way to class. It was good to put a face with the emails and phone calls I have made. I look forward to getting up to Washington State and meeting the other coaches. USC came by also. My coach said they liked my film and would like for me to come to their rising stars camp so that they could further evaluate me. I also spoke briefly with the coach from Utah. Utah gave me my first offer. My coach said that most of the coaches said I looked bigger in person than on film. I have been working hard in the weight room and on the track. Recently I was on the 4 x 100 relay team that set a school record at the WCAL Championships on May 16th with a time of 42.35.

I will be concenrating more on Strength and conditioning preparing for the upcoming football season. I am about 10 pounds heavier since the football season ended. I would like to add an additional 5 to 10 pounds by the time the season starts and increase or maintain my speed.

Recruitng Update: BIG 10 OFFER

Yesterday I received an offer from the Northwestern University Wildcats. Northwestern is a great institution. It is also my first offer from a school back east. This is a very special offer. My whole family is excited and so am I. I received the offer yesterday at school after seeing my recruiting coach from Northwestern. This is truly an offer that I can share with my entire team. Without them and the coaches none of this would be possible. I look forward to meeting Coach Fitzgerald and the rest of the staff as well as visiting the campus in the near future.

Recruiting Update

I just received my third offer. It's from San Diego State University. They play in the Mountain West and has a rich tradition. One of the greatest running backs in Collegiate and NFL History Marshall Faulk played there. I am really excited to be getting this offer from the Aztecs and I am looking forward to meeting the coaches in the near future and learning more about the team and the community of San Diego.

Recruiting Update

Today I received another offer and my first from the PAC lO Conference. The Washington State Cougars offered me today. I am really excited that they view me as someone that can be a part of their future success in the PAC Ten Conference. I look forward to meeting and talking with the coaches in the near future as well as visiting and seeing the surrounding community and campus.

Post Season Recruiting Update:

Hello Everyone,

I'm back! After the great success of our team, that included a WCAL Championship! We have been working hard in the classroom and weight room preparing for the SAT, ACT and next season. I just wanted to give an update on the recruiting. I've received a lot of interest and I have just begun getting my highlight DVD of this past season out to Universities this week. I have been invited to the following upcoming events. I'll keep you posted and will talk to you soon.

My plans are to attend all three if possible.
